Auditions for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Trail College鈥檚 production of Rodgers and Hammerstein鈥檚 Cinderella will be January 17 and 18 at 6:30 at the Zwermann Arts Center Theater.
Callbacks, if necessary, are scheduled for January 19 at 6:30. The first read-through for the musical is January 20 at 6:30 and rehearsals begin January 24.
鈥淭his is a fairy tale which requires polished, charming, and energetic characters,鈥 says Director Brennan Seth Tracy. 鈥淚t will benefit you to make strong choices and focus on vocal clarity and characterization. Spend time preparing characterizations, facial expressions, and movements for your vocal excerpts to give us an idea of how you might play the character while singing.鈥
Tracy says people that are not planning to audition for a named character and would like to be in the ensemble can pick any character to read. Audition packets are available online.
