About the Program

This hands-on certificate program prepares you for entry-level careers with gas utilities and pipeline contractors. You'll gain real-world skills in gas main and service installation, safety protocols, and DOT Operator Qualifications (OQ) readiness.

Upon completion, you'll be job-ready with practical experience and industry-recognized certifications that employers actively seek.

Jack Tribe 40+ Years Experience

Professional OQ trainer and evaluator with an exceptional track record in the natural gas industry. Certified by Veriforce, NCCER, ITS, and EWN.

Jack's background includes roles as a journeyman pipefitter/welder, technical college instructor, and gas training specialist for both utilities and contractors. He's an expert in OSHA and gas utility safety standards.

Requirements for Success

  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Be willing to travel or relocate for work
