IECC Reports Stable Enrollment, Growth in Key Areas
Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC) is reporting steady enrollment this fall, with strong gains among dual credit, career and technical, transfer, and adult education students. While overall full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment is down just 0.5 percent, Vice Chancellor of Institutional Outreach Tona Ambrose, who directs IECC鈥檚 enrollment management efforts, says the numbers reflect stability and strength across the district鈥檚 four colleges鈥敽诹仙, Lincoln Trail College, Olney Central College, and Wabash Valley College.

Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Named Among Aspen Institute's Top 200 US Community Colleges
Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC) - encompassing 黑料社, Lincoln Trail College, Olney Central College, and Wabash Valley College 鈥 has been named among the Top 200 U.S. Community Colleges by the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program.

A New Chapter for 黑料社 
A large crowd of community leaders, students, faculty, and staff braved the heat and gathered at 黑料社 on Tuesday, September 16, for the groundbreaking of the new athletic facility. The ceremony took place in the field between Mason Hall and Bob Boyles Hall.

Lincoln Trail College to Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Career and Technical Training Center
Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB) announced today construction is underway on the $13.4 million Career and Technical Training Center at Lincoln Trail College, one of four colleges within Illinois Eastern Community Colleges.

OCC Massage Therapy Students Gain Pathway to Highest National Credentials 
Olney Central College has been approved as a National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) Assigned School.
The designation ensures that after successfully completing state licensure, OCC massage therapy students can now seek NCBTMB board certification, the highest credentials available for those in the massage therapy profession.

Forde Represents IECC on National Stage at Social Media Strategies Summit
When the 2025 Social Media Strategies Summit for Higher Education convenes this month, Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC) will once again have a voice on the national stage. Chris Forde, IECC鈥檚 Program Director of Marketing and Communications, has been invited for the second consecutive year to serve as a conference speaker, joining communications professionals from some of the nation鈥檚 most respected universities.

LTC to Offer Children's Choir this Fall
Lincoln Trail College is inviting young singers to take the stage this fall with the launch of a new Children鈥檚 Choir.
Open to kids ages 5鈥11, the choir will meet from 6:30鈥7:30 p.m. on November 6, 13, 20, and December 4 in DeMent Auditorium. Under the direction of Rebecca Geffs, participants will learn songs, explore basic vocal techniques, and develop performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.
The choir will make its debut performance on December 5 at 7 p.m. as part of Lincoln Trail College鈥檚 Fall Choral Concert.

Tickets are now available for Lincoln Trail College Theatre鈥檚 fall production of Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery,opening October 30 in the Zwermann Arts Center Theater. Performances run October 30, 31, and November 1 at 7 p.m., with a matinee on November 2 at 2 p.m.
