LTC Celebrates Nursing Class of 2025
Lincoln Trail College honored the Nursing Class of 2025 in a heartfelt Pinning Ceremony that celebrated the hard work, compassion and dedication of the graduating students as they prepare to enter the nursing profession.
The ceremony began with a welcome from Associate Professor of Nursing Angie Williams, who spoke about the symbolism behind the nursing pin. She explained how the pin represents more than just the completion of a program鈥攊t鈥檚 a badge of honor that reflects a commitment to care, service and integrity.

LTC Students Gain Real-World Experience at National Process Technology Competition
Four Lincoln Trail College Process Technology students recently tested their skills on a national stage, competing in the North American Process Technology Alliance鈥檚 Troubleshooting Skills Competition 鈥 and gaining a firsthand look at the industry they鈥檙e preparing to enter.
Students Madison Davis, Kollin Ramos, Reeve Dennis, and Garrett Winterrowd represented LTC in the event, which challenges students from across the country to solve simulated industrial problems using Distributed Control Systems (DCS), teamwork, and real-world troubleshooting.

Lincoln Trail College welcomed approximately 100 high school and college students on May 1 for the 2025 Future Educators Summit, a one-day event designed to motivate, inform and prepare the next generation of teachers and education leaders.

Lincoln Trail College to Break Ground on Long-Awaited Technology Center
After more than two decades of planning, Lincoln Trail College is set to break ground later this year on a state-of-the-art Technology Center that will house high-demand programs in Welding, Process Technology, and Broadband Telecommunications. The new facility will enhance technical education across the region, offering hands-on training aligned with local industry needs and statewide workforce priorities.

LTC to Celebrate 55th Annual Commencement on May 9
Lincoln Trail College will celebrate the academic achievements of the Class of 2025 during its 55th Annual Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 9, at 7 p.m. The ceremony will take place in the LTC Sports Center.
LTC President Tona Ambrose will preside over the ceremony, which will honor approximately 120 graduates receiving degrees and certificates. Of those, 60 students will graduate with academic distinction, earning recognition for Honors, High Honors, or Highest Honors.

Lincoln Trail College Prepares for Spring Concerts
Lincoln Trail College鈥檚 Zwermann Arts Center Theater will come alive with music this April as the College presents two end-of-semester concerts showcasing student and community talent.
The LTC Concert Band will perform on Tuesday, April 22 at 7 p.m., under the direction of Jena Combs. The concert features an energetic and eclectic program, including jazz favorites, classic pop arrangements, and student soloists.

Hershey Donates $40,000 to Support Dual Credit Students
The Hershey Company has donated $40,000 to the United Way of Crawford County to support high school students taking dual credit classes through Lincoln Trail College. The gift will help remove financial barriers for students and families by covering the cost of tuition for college-level classes taken while still in high school.

LTC Welcomes in High School Seniors for Senior Start Day
More than 150 high school seniors from across the region got a jumpstart on their futures Tuesday at Lincoln Trail College鈥檚 Senior Start Day 鈥 an event designed to blend fun with future planning.
The day began with cheers and laughter as students packed into the Zwermann Arts Center Theater for a lively round of Minute to Win It-style games and trivia. From balancing challenges to brain teasers, students were on their feet, competing and connecting with peers from other schools.
