One of Lincoln Trail College鈥檚 most popular community events is returning this year. Trunk or Treat at the Trail takes place from 4-6 p.m. on October 26, 2023, in the large parking lot at the College. 鈥淭his is a really fun event for everybody,鈥� says Lincoln Trail College Coordinator of Marketing and Public Information Chris Forde. 鈥淲e really enjoy providing the community a safe and fun place where families can trick or treat.鈥�

Lincoln Trail College will welcome high school seniors to the College on October 25. The Senior Day event will give seniors more information about LTC. 鈥淲e want to make this a fun and engaging event for our area seniors,鈥� says Illinois Eastern Community Colleges Director of Enrollment Management Andrea Loll. 鈥淲e鈥檙e planning some unique activities to showcase how Lincoln Trail College is a great choice for area students.鈥�

Lincoln Trail College Theater Director Taylor Dahlberg has named the cast for The Arts at Lincoln Trail College鈥檚 production of God of Carnage. The part of Alan Raleigh will be played by Lincoln 鈥淛ake鈥� Wright while Annette Raleigh will be played by Grae Drake. Brennan Tracy plays the part of Michael Novak and Rachel Carter plays Veronica Novak.

Lincoln Trail College has named Taylor Dahlberg its new Theater Director. In this role, Dahlberg will be responsible for directing LTC productions, facilitating Summer Children鈥檚 Theatre, managing the Zwermann Performing Arts Center, and occasionally teaching theater classes.

Lincoln Trail College Theater Director Taylor Dahlberg announced audition information for the College鈥檚 fall production of God of Carnage. Auditions will take place September 11 and 13 at 6 p.m. each night in the Zwermann Arts Center Theater.

Tona Ambrose has been named the new President at Lincoln Trail College. She will also serve as the Vice Chancellor of Institutional Outreach (VCIO) for Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC). Ambrose is the 12th President in Lincoln Trail College鈥檚 history.  

Lincoln Trail College students Madisyn McIntosh and Krista Phillips finished sixth in the nation at the Future Business Leaders of America Collegiate National Leadership Conference. It is the second year in a row LTC students have earned a top-ten finish at the event.  

As students prepare for the start of the Fall 2023 Semester, Lincoln Trail College is holding a series of events called Walk-In Wednesdays. The events will help students register for classes this fall at LTC.   鈥淲e want to make it easy for students to register for classes this fall,鈥� said LTC Coordinator of Marketing and Public Information Chris Forde. 鈥淭he Walk-In Wednesday events allow students to easily register for classes, meet with advisors, get help with financial aid and complete any testing they may need to do before the start of classes.鈥�
